1. COMMUNICATIONS

a. Request approval of Board of Trustee Minutes dated September 25, 2000.

2. COUNSEL - Harrison S. Edwards

a. Request approval of Software License Agreement with Quest Computer Products, Inc., 1611 Claymore Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516 for upgrade of Court Computer System at a cost of $41,250.00, and further request authorization for Mayor Glacken to sign any and all documents to effectuate agreement.

b. Request approval of Agreement between County of Nassau and the Incorporated Village of Freeport for the Enhanced 911 Emergency System at a cost of $1,250.00 per month and further request authorization for Mayor Glacken to sign any and all documents to effectuate agreement.

3. VILLAGE CLERK - Anna Knoeller

a. Request authorization for Susan Lyons to attend the Planning and Zoning Conference in Ellenville, New York on October 17, 2000 at a cost of $165.00 plus expenses.

4. TREASURER - Vilma I. Lancaster

a. Request authorization to transfer $1,000.00 FROM Public Works Engineering Account #1495.110-Overtime TO Public Works Engineering Account #1495.201-Equipment.

b. Request authorization for Valerie Montes and Vilma I. Lancaster to attend the New York State Government Finance Officers Association Fall Seminar at West Point Campus on October 6, 2000 at a cost of $55.00 per person plus expenses.

5. ELECTRIC - Hubert M. Bianco

a. Request resolution that provides the week of October 1 —7, 2000 be designated the 14th Annual Public Power Week to honor Freeport Electric.

6. ASSESSOR - Bernadine Quinton

a. Request permission to correct the 2000/0 1 final assessment rolls, issue credits, corrected tax bills or refunds as required by state law for various properties.

7. BUILDING - Joseph P. Madigan

a. Request to advertise for bids in the Leader and other relevant publications of general circulation for Elevation of Residential Structures - 470 Roosevelt Avenue, contract 00-1 0-BLDG-024 with a returnable date of October 17, 2000.

b. Request authorization for Richard Holdener and Joseph Madigan to attend the Nationl Fire Protection Association Educational Conference in Orlando, Florida, November 10— 13, 2000 at an approximate cost of $786.00 per person plus expenses.

8. TOURISM - Kathleen Keating

a. Request approval to hold a Fall for Freeport Festival on October 29, 2000 in the Municipal Parking Lot adjacent to the Seaport Museum from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

2. ASSESSOR - Bernadine Quinton

a. Request permission to correct the 2000/01 final assessment roll for the properties granted reductions, issue corrected tax bills or refunds as required by law.

b. The 200 1/02 Tentative Assessment Roll will be open for inspection during normal business hours from November 1, 2000 to November 21, 2000 in the Village Clerk’s office and in the Assessor’s office. Further request the Village Clerk be directed to post arid publish the required legal notice in the Freeport Leader on November 3, 2000.

3. PUBLIC WORKS - Louis DiGrazia

a. Request authorization to advertise a Notice to Bidders on October 26, 2000 in the Freeport Leader and other relevant publications of general circulation for the contract Demolition of 2l & 23 East Merrick Road with a returnable date of November 14, 2000.

b. Request authorization to advertise a Notice to Bidders on October 26, 2000 for the contract Sale of Surplus Vehicles 2000 in the Freeport Leader and other relevant publications of general circulation with a returnable date of November 14, 2000.

c. Request authorization to advertise a Notice to Bidders on October 26, 2000 in the Freeport Leader and other relevant publications of general circulation for the contract North East Park Ball Field Lighting with a returnable date of November 14, 2000.

d. Request authorization for Mayor Glacken or his designated representative permission to acknowledge by signature acceptance of AT&T Wireless Service d/b/a as Cellular Telephone Company, request to extend the lease with the Village of Freeport for provided space at the North East Well Field for communications equipment.

c. Request to award bid for 1,000,000 Gallons, More or Less, No. 2 Fuel Oil to RAD Energy Corporation, 287 Bowman Avenue, Purchase, NY 10577-2540 in the amount of Average NY Harbor Barge Resellers posted price minus $.0112 per gallon delivered, with an additional one year extension option as contained in the bid specifications.

a. Request authorization for Raymond A. Straub and Mayor William F. Glacken to attend the Project Impact Summit 2000 Conference in Washington, D.C. on November 12-16, 2000 at an approximate cost of $750.00 per person plus expenses.

a. Request resolution that the offer in the amount of $3,712.86 for Bill #L-1479 be accepted as fill settlement of the claim in the amount of $4,641.08 against Louis Fountas for damages to utility poles #10 and #11 on Mill Road.

3. TREASURER - Vilma I. Lancaster

a. Request to advance $125,465.40 from Fleet Bank, N.A., General Fund-Account #3-002-09466-9 to Bank of New York Accounts Payable Account #690-196318-3 to cover expenses incurred by F.D. Contracting Corp. for Stirling/Lester Grade Raising Project-Capital Fund Account #H5 197.272.

4. PUBLIC WORKS - Louis Di Grazia

a. Recommend that the contract "Furnishing of Sodium Hexametaphosphate" be awarded to JCI Jones Chemical Inc., P.O. Box 1089, 40 Railroad Avenue, Merrimack, New Hampshire in the amount of $29,400.00 total bid.

b. Recommend that the contract "Furnishing of Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite" be awarded to Twin County Swimming Pool Maintenance & Supply Company, Inc., 797 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, New York, in the amount of $13,680.00 total bid.

c. Recommend that the contract for the Furnishing of New Latest Model Backhoe Loader be awarded to Hedco Associates, Ltd., 262 McCormick Drive, Bohemia, New York for the total amount of $86,930.00.

d. Recommend that the contract for the furnishing of One (1) New 2001 Latest Model Dump Truck be awarded to Long Island Freightliner, 1365 Lakeland Avenue, Bohemia, New York in the amount of $101,464.00.

e. Request to advertise for bids in the Leader and other relevant publications of general circulation for the contract Modifications of Cooling Tower Basin for Freeport Electric on November 2, 2000 with a returnable date of November 21, 2000.

5. BUILDING - Joseph Madigan
