JULY 15, 2002 COMMUNICATIONS
a. Request approval of request from Transfiguration Episcopal Church,
South Long Beach Avenue and Pine Street, to hang a banner at Sunrise
Highway and South Long Beach Avenue or Pine Street and South Long Beach
Avenue from September 12, 2002 to October 13, 2002, to announce their
Second Annual Parish Fair, and further that the Electric Department assist
in the hanging of the banner.
b. Request approval of request from Grace Malewicz, 10 Martha Street,
to hold a block party on Martha Street, between Hudson Avenue and Guy
Lombardo Avenue, August 17, 2002, with a rain date of August 24, 2002,
from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
c. Request approval of request from the Rural & Migrant Ministry,
Poughkeepsie, New York, to hold a procession, assembly and presentation,
beginning at Parking field #18, North Grove Street and Brooklyn Avenue,
proceeding south on North Ocean Avenue, east on West Sunrise Highway to
Church Street, cross West Sunrise Highway, proceed west on West Sunrise
Highway to south on South Ocean Avenue, ending in Parking Field #10, South
Ocean Avenue, for a short demonstration, July 28, 2002, from 1:00 pm to
3:00 pm.
2. PUBLIC WORKS - Louis DiGrazia
a. Request to accept the contract of Cromwell and Tish, 716 Blydenburgh
Road, Hauppauge, New York, for Restoration of Natorium Ceiling at the
Freeport Recreation Center at a final cost of $254,857.00, with the
retainage to be released upon Village Board of Trustees accepting this
contract and the submitting and approval of a 10% maintenance bond.
b. Request to remove user fee from tax bill, Section 54, Block 206, Lot
99, 290 Rose Street, and further that the Treasurer be authorized to make
adjustments.
3. ASSESSOR - Bernadine Quinton
a. Request to change the 2002 final assessment roll and the 2002/2003
tax roll for various properties granted reductions and issue corrected tax
bills or refunds as required by law.
4. ELECTRIC UTILITIES - Hubert Bianco
a. Request to advertise a Notice to Bidders on July 18, 2002,
"Generation Facilities Design Build for Freeport Electric’s Power Plant 2
Expansion", in the Leader, Newsday and the New York Times with a
returnable date of September 3, 2002.
5. BUDGET AND PROCUREMENT - Teresa Baldinucci
a. Request resolution to transfer funds in the 2001-2002 budget to
various accounts and further that the Comptroller and Budget Director be
authorized to effectuate thé same.
6. VILLAGE COUNSEL - Harrison I. Edwards
a. Request resolution that the Moratorium on the placement of
telecommunication towers and antennas, adopted on April 22, 2002, be
extended an additional ninety days.
0b. Request approval of the Hold Harmless Agreement for rental of a
1999 GMC-C7H042 Digger Derrick, and further that the Mayor be authorized
to sign any and all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.

Ladder Truck for the Fire Department" in the Leader and other relevant
publications of general circulation, with a returnable date of August 13,

a. Request to advertise a Notice to Bidders for Parking Field 10 & 16
Improvement Project in the Leader and other relevant publications of
general circulation, with a returnable date of July 30, 2002.
b. Request to advertise a Notice to Bidders for Roof Restoration at

Green Utility Building in the Leader and other relevant publications of
general circulation, with a returnable date of July 30, 2002.
c. Request to accept the contract of Talty Construction, Inc., 108

Village Hall — Phase 3, at a final cost of
$122,000.00, with the retainage to be released upon Village Board of

24th Program Year entitled Rehabilitation: Multi-Family/Liberty Park Cable
Replacement, and transfer $16,439.03 from Community Development Block
Grant 27th Program Year (0 1-02) line entitled Guy Lombardo Avenue (PF&I),
and create a new budget line in the 27th Program Year entitled
Rehabilitation: Muti-Family/Liberty Park Cable Replacement.
