Ignores Dangerous Overcrowding February 12, 2003  |

| The Atkinson Library was packed to the rafters as the February 12, 2003 School Board meeting began. The standing room only crowd, composed of teachers, administrators, parents and students, exceeded the capacity of the room and packed the main exit making it almost impossible to traverse. Freeport's Superintendent, Dr. Eric Eversley, ignored the dangerous conditions and failed to move the meeting to the large auditorium, just a few feet down the hall. |
