Frpt. Village Hall
Freeport NY, October 1, 1999
Once again, according to the
Village Board rules, the Glacken administration cannot prepare the agendas
for their open meetings on time. By Friday, at the close of business, the
agenda should have been ready for this Monday night's meeting in Village
Hall.
A quick check of what the Mayor
calls the Freeport Village web site, www.freeportny.com, revealed not one
word about Monday night's meeting. The Mayor's usual excuse is that the
agenda is not complete and subject to change. Surely, the Mayor knows that
he can change the agenda after the Board meetings begin, as he has on many
occassions. If this Mayor and his Board wanted the world to really know what
was going on here, he would post the agendas as they become available, with
a little note "subject to change." They don't because they don't
want you to know what is going on here. LILKER
