"Not In Their Neighborhoods"

The Glackenites have once again turned their back on an African American neighborhood, as they have left an abandoned car on down trodden Helen Avenue for what one resident claimed was about two months.

The auto, sans license plates, and now with the tires missing is in clear view to any one going to Home Depot from the north or the new Village - Catholic Charities sponsored Day Worker Shape Up Site at the end of Bennington Avenue.

A resident, who didn't want to be identified said, "I don't know how long the car's been here, but look at that police sticker [on the driver's side window]. It's been here so long that its rotted off in the sun. I know one thing, they [the Glackenites] wouldn't leave this car in their neighborhoods."
