The newspapers and the garbage have been building up
along the fence for months, as the weeds grow out onto the sidewalk.
The village has the authority to clean up this mess and charge
the owner, but instead continues to ignore the situation, as the
Glackenites play politics as usual. In the
background a car can be seen parked on the sidewalk. Daily, on both
Merrick Road and Sunrise Hwy., this is a common occurrence. |
