Freeport Village Hall
October 25, 1999

Once again, Mayor Glacken was unable to prepare the Village Board Agenda by the close of business on Friday, as is required. The agenda for the evening of the twenty fifth went off without a hitch and as usual, the board approved every item unanimously without comment. The Board approved a total of $5445.00 to be spent on trips and conferences, all of which do not include hotel, travel and meal expenses. Two of the three public hearings scheduled for the evening were canceled. Mayor Glacken explained that they were waiting to hear from the Nassau County Planning Commission, although he didn't explain what they were waiting for. The canceled public hearings, one to give tax exemption for landmarked properties and the other to amend the allowable uses in "Marine Industrial Districts" have been rescheduled for November 8th at 8p.m. Go to Agenda.
